Shame about abuse

Now that others have gone public and are talking about sexual abuse, it is easier to tell people. I think that's one of the hardest issue to deal with. Since I still don't like to tell anyone, I must have some leftover shame. That's true. Shame doesn't go away. My goal is to think about shame and get past it. In therapy I notice that I rarely bring up aspects of my abuse. I wonder if that is more shame? Or is it just too hard to talk about what happened?
